I finished. I finished my script... The script that has taken me three years, ten months, two weeks, fifteen days and twenty hours (more or less). Typing the words: 'The End' felt better than a Dairy Queen Butterfinger Blizzard. And, I love those BTW!
Luv and hugs to all my fellow bloggers and friends out in Blog Catalog land. Keep writing everyone! Now, I must concentrate on the 'rewrite.' This is afterall, the 'vomit' draft. (LOL).

Congrats!
Enjoyed viewing your blog.
Thanks. I really appreciate that. Truly I do. I know your time is valuable. It means a lot that you took time to read my blog. Fat Bastard & Austin Girl hope we made you laugh! :)
sincere congratulations!
Right On! Doin' Austin proud!
I love you Miss Austin Girl. Come out to So Cal so we can do a "girls" weekend, get sufficiently smashed, and bitch and moan about the bad boys in our lives! Stay beautiful and uber cool, my darling!
Congratulations on finishing your script! (although I only just wandered into your blog, so have no idea what it is yet).
Your blog looks great btw - am off to have a read now :)
Hi Nancy! I'm hopping over to your blog right now. I just got back from Dallas and read your note. You're prettier than the prettiest flower God put on earth and sweeter than the sweetest sunshine (that's some of my dialogue from script). I mean it Miss Nancy. Yeah...bad boys. Gawd... what to do. what to do. ummm.:) LOL!
So... isn't Tortilla precious?
Hey Jonathan! Thanks for stopping by Austin Girl & Fat Bastard blog. A read huh? Must be an actor!
My script is about an unhappy wife who is a lost soul. Desperate to leave her husband, her job her life in search for true happiness ultimately leads her to a man - a place - a world - she never knew existed. It's "dramedy." I can't really say too much more at this stage! :)
May have taken awhile, but you did finish, and now hold in your hands a tangible product. Many years ago, while cranking out one business book after another, I wrote a novel on the side. (To satisfy a hidden urge, to prove to myself that I could write a novel.) Took me 12 years. I was just about to send it off to my publisher, when an office fire consumed it. Frustrating. To say the minimum. At least you and Fat Bastard will get to enjoy the fruits of your labors.
Way to go, buddy!!!!!
Congratulations! :)
I'm glad you are finished!
Now it is time to start another one!
Congratz! heard about you on CNN...
Aren't you supposed to write "fade out" at the end of a script not "the end"?
Hi 'foolofholes,'
Both. Or just 'Fade Out.' But, there's always an end. (LOL).
Congrats on "The End."
Best feeling in the world isn't it?
Good Job!
@ Fiesty Charlie,
Thanks for visiting Austin Girl's blog. Yes. Good feeling, but I have this 'vomit' draft that needs rewrite. Uggh. I love the challenge on getting it right.
